Bridal shower locations?

I know I'm not supposed to involve myself in the planning of my bridal shower, but no one else is in the area ... so I thought I'd help them come up with ideas.

Do any of you have any unique bridal shower locales (that are relatively inexpensive) in the Chicago area (also northwest/northern burbs)? It will be in October, so outdoors could be questionable. My mom's house is out of the question, and none of my BM have a large enough space, so we can't use anyone's home.

Thanks!

I had my shower at the Clubhouse in Oakbrook (located in the mall) and it was fabulous. They have gorgeous rooms and way more than enough space.

I threw a bridal shower for my now SIL at the Tango Grill in Naperville.  It was on a Sunday and we opted for the Sunday brunch.  Guests each got two drinks (alcoholic) and unlimited non-alcoholic drinks.  There was a crepe action station and a great spread of food - brunch is served buffet style all you can eat.  There was a good mix between traditional brunch items and some Argentinian dishes.  All of this for $15.95 per person.

We were given the entire second floor so it really was like we had a private party space.  We brought our own cake, decorations and the waitstaff was accommodating.

I would highly recommend - the only downside was that because the restaurant is in downtown Naperville, parking was a bit tough and the parking lot required walking....not too far away but I think a lot of ppl were accustomed to going to a place where there was a dedicated parking lot.

The Seasons in Long Grove has both weekend luncheon buffets as well as afternoon teas.  If you are looking for brunch, Winberies in Buffalo Grove is really nice.  Both offer private areas.  Millrose Brewery in Barrington has a variety of private rooms and also has a nice Sunday brunch menu.
