What postage goes up Monday?

I've read a few posts that postage is going up on Monday, but what exactly? I went the post office web site and it was less than helpful and just gave me a headache!!

Thanks :)

Agreed on the post office website!  My understanding is that the regular postage will be staying at $.44 but if the weight of what you're sending is over one ounce, then the additional ounces will now cost more than they used to (I think it's an additional $.20 per ounce).  So a two ounce First class piece of mail will now cost $.64 instead of $.61.  Does that make any sense? HTH!

I was just at the post office yesterday, the lady didn't mention anything about regular mail but post card stamps are going up a penny.

Thank you lovely ladies! I have a few lingering invites to go out on my B list...I should probably drop them off today and just bypass the whole problem!

<div>Just make sure that your RSVPs have the new $0.29  stamps or add 1 cent stamps to them so when people try to send them back, they won't have any problems.</div>
