Bakery

So I am looking for a reasonable bakery.  The cake taste is very important to us since we are not serving a plated dessert, however I am hoping to spend $2-$2.50 per slice.  A lot of places are telling me $4 per slice...that is crazy to me.  Our reception is on the south side of Chicago.

Thanks!

I am using Creative Cakes in Tinley Park, very affordable and tastes great! Good luck!

Domino's.  It's at the western edge of Chicago on Harlem Ave.  We just had a tasting there.  They are $2.50 a slice.  More if you want to do fancy stuff like fondant.

Also, if you are trying to save money, look into having a smaller display cake and then having a sheet cake in the back for most of the servings.  It can be less expensive because it is less work to decorate and move a sheet cake.
