Alterations--Elena Covello

Has anyone used Elena Covello in Glenview for their alterations?  She was recommended by Wedding Belles and I made an appointment with her.  She gave me an estimate for $350 without even asking what I needed done, and I'm wondering if that is a rip off.  Any ideas?

    She gave you an estimate without knowing what needed to be done? That's kind of weird.

    Yeah, I know.  I thought I replied yesterday, but I need it taken in on top, hemmed, and a bustle added.  The dress has a bubble hem, so I think that may be more complicated.  Or not, I don't know.

    Hi Katie, did you end up using elena? I have also received a recommendation from the store I bought my dress. Trying to see reviews on her, but can't find any. Was she any good? If there is anyone else that had used her I'd love to get some feedback. Thanks
