Menus/programs/placecards -how much $

Hey everyone,

Only 12 more days to go and I still need all my menus/programs, placecards etc. I asked the place where i got my invitations (local store) to make them and they came back with a quote of $750 for programs (which is only 1 page) and $544 for menus. We are only having 120 people so that seems crazy to me. Am i wrong? I dont have time to do it myself and i'm afraid ordering them online will make them look cheap and wont match my invite. Is this the going price now a days?

That seems really expensive, but I'm not at that point yet so I don't know for sure. If they are only one page though, could you do them yourself or do they have a lot of design on them? I did these things for a friend's wedding last year and it was much easier than I thought.

Hmmm that seems a bit pricey. I DIY'd my programs so I'm not sure how much everything cost b/c I bought the paper/ribbon/etc. in bulk with all the supplies for my invites.

Kio Kreations designed, printed, scored and folded my placecards for 150 or so, and they were $60.

Wow, to me that seems very expensives; but then again, I DIYed mine.

Menus are not a must and definitely not something I'd stress over at this point.

For your program-do you already have the design file made up?  You could easily have these printed at Staples or somewhere similar

Might as well get out the cardstock and DIY! That's WAY too much!

    That's a lot..

I am making my own, took the design from my invite and put it on the program, and just typed everything out. You can do this using Word pretty easily.

For placecards, I got folded business cards from Vista Print for pretty cheap and plan on handwriting in names and table numbers.
I'm not doing menu's but I think that you could do that in Word easily also.

I would not spend that much money on something that most guests will either not take with them, or throw away.

Had my programs printed at SirSpeedy on Diversey. It only cost $151 for 200 programs, but we were strictly black ink and we brought in our own paper which we purchased from Papersource. Placecards, I purchased some black cardstock from Papersource, reasonably priced and oval labels to print out our name cards.
