Inexpensive Veils?

I found the perfect veil!  It has all the detail I want (lace & light beading, sheer, chapel...) AND it matches my dress perfectly.  But....it's $600!!  To me, that's crazy...especially since I will only be wearing it for the ceremony.  I was hoping to only spend $50-$200.

Can anyone recommend reasonable veil bridal stores?  I tried the online Occansey but I'm not sure they can match it right, and I'd like to try it on.  Or maybe I just have to switch to a budget friendly plain veil??

TIA!

You could try The Wedding Etc located in downtown Downers Grove.  They sell only bridal accessories, veils, jewelry, shoes etc.  I had looked there for veils and their pricies are reasonable.  A majority of the veils they sell are under $200.  HTH!

I got a steal on a veil at the Priscilla of Boston sample sale.  Sign up for their emails and they announce when the next sale is.

I'm in the same boat; my parents are buying my dress, and the veil that I LOVE is $375 and I just don't feel right asking my parents to also shell out the $$ for that.

    Thanks for posting this!

This probably wouldn't work for you since you want more detail-- but I ordered mine on e-bay for $15...but it's just a simple cut edge- Might be worthwhile to look though, as long as you find a reputable seller you can always send it back if you don't like it.

I ordered mine from PowerBlueBijoux on Etsy and it's great. Mine was $30, it is a bird cage veil. You can't really try it one, but I am sure she could do something custom if you asked.

I ordered my veil on ebay from a company called Delicate Spirits.  It's a ivory catherdral length mantilla veil for which I paid $29.99 no tax, free shipping.  It's scheduled to arrive at the end of this week.  I will keep you posted.

I arrived home to discover the veil with the mail!  In short, I took a risk and it was well worth it.  The veil is absolutely beautiful and color matches my dress.
