Hi ladies,
Are you supposed to tip the seamstress for her services? My mom asked me and I wasn't sure. She has gone above and beyond for me, so I'm thinking we should.
Had my 2nd fitting last night and I'm thrilled! I had found my dream shoes for the wedding and brought them to the first fitting - but they were too tall and made the dress look way too short 
So we were obviously disappointed, but managed to find another pair that would work, but I wasn't in love with. So we brought both pairs to the fitting last night and low and behold, the seamstress had spent an extra 2 hours of work letting out the dress so that I could wear my dream shoes cause she saw how much I loved them!!! I was sooooo impressed and happy!
I know she had gotten a bad review on these boards before (she's the seamstress at A L'amour in Barrington), so I just wanted to share my wonderful experience with her. We didn't even ask her to see what she could do about the length and never would have expected that she could do anything at all, so it was a wonderful surprise that she took it on herself to make sure I was happy!
