Brick Loft, Unique places for Reception.

I went to a wedding in Buffalo that was apart of a restuarant.  The walls were all brick and it really made the wedding.  I was wondering if we have anything like that in the northern suburbs of Chicago.  I definatley do not want my wedding in the city but locations in Lake County would be the best.  I've already had my eye on the Byron Colby Barn, which is a very unique venue.  I was just wondering if there are any loft, industrial looking venues.

    I had my wedding at Loft on Lake which has great exposed brick walls, but unfortunately, it's in the city!

    Check out Metropolis Ballroom in Arlington Heights. It's pretty loft like and in the suburbs. Maybe that will work?!

    Maybe Pinstripes in Barrington or Entourage in Schaumburg.  Neither are super lofty but are more modern looking than a typical banquet space.  Lofts are pretty hard to come by in the suburbs!

    Another place that might have what you are looking for is Riverside Receptions in Montgomery.  It isn't the north burbs, but I think it could be closer to what you are picturing, still staying out of the city.  Good Luck!

    Did the Victoria Banquets-Highwood location ever get restored after the fire back in March? If they are back up and running, the hall had nice wood floors, brick walls and a really unique space.

    Metropolis Ballroom in Arlington Heights (as pp mentioned) is a cool loft space and there are some bars in the area for the after hours party crew.
