Cute idea for bridesmaids?

I'm looking for a cute idea on how to ask my girls to be bridesmaids.  Let me know what you did or other cute ideas!  Thanks!

I had fortune cookies made that said "will you be my bridesmaid" inside as the fortune, then I put them inlittle Chinese Take Out boxes.

I bought feather dusters and wrapped them with dishwashing gloves to make them look like a bouquet. I then made a card that said:
TOP FIVE REASONS YOU WOULD MAKE A GREAT MAID!
Each card had a different reason (some funny, some sentimental).  It was really inexpensive and the girls loved it!

I also made hand made cards..eah one different. I also wrote a letter to each of them telling them why they are impartant to me and why i want them to be my bridesmaid.  i am a very emotional person so i would not have been able to get the words out without crying.  this made it more special for me and for them.  my maids that live close I dropped the notes off and for the ones that live out of state i mailed them.  i still called them too to ask them.

I bought cookies made in the shape of bridesmaid dresses, made a card and put it in a box i bought from TJ Maxx for my girls.

I also created the bmaid cards with a poem and filled with pictures of us over the years. They loved 'em.

I took my maid of honor to PF Changs for dinner.  I bought a Chinese take out box and added some fortune cookies with strips of paper that said Will you be my maid of honor.  I bought the fortune cookies at Jewel and added the strips of paper to them.  I had 4 fortune cookies so no matter which one she grabbed she would get the message.  I had the waiter deliver it to the table when I left the table to go to the "bathroom".  My sister didn't see it coming so that made it all more fun!

I gave my bridesmaids inexpensive ($29!) soiree bracelets from Stella & Dot that could be worn on the big day.

They arrived gift wrapped (at no charge) and I simply attached a cute card with a cityscape shot of Chicago, where we live and our wedding was held), asking, "I would be honored if you would be my bridemaid!"

my fiance does graphics and photoshop as a living, so he photoshopped each of their faces into a 1980's HIDEOUS pic I found of a bride and her bridesmaids' in really ugly 80 dresses, even the hair. I printed the pics out onto a card and asked them to be my bm inside of a poem. It was hilarious. I mailed it to them and they all died of laughter when they saw it cuz it looked so real. I found the fake pic on google images.
