Having problems...

Has anyone ever had problems getting a hold of Jeff from Shoot the Bride? I was hoping to talk to him about a consultation, but I haven't heard from him in quite a while (even after 2 or 3 e-mails over 3 weeks or so). 

Any tips?

    Perhaps try calling him? I wrote him an email last week and heard back from him a day or so later!

    another thought, if you were emailing him maybe it was going to his spam mail, or his reply to your spam mail?

    I have never had a problem reaching Jeff.  I would suggest calling him as well.

    My philosophy on vendors is that if they are hard to contact before you've booked them, how can you count on them to be easy to contact close to the wedding when there are lots of questions?

    Jeff is on Facebook. Shoot the Bride Films. He has been in Florida for work, posted that on Facebook. I am using him and haven't had problems with contacting, however we booked him much earlier this year. I haven't felt the need to contact him until we confirm for the wedding. I'm very hands off with the professional photogs and videographer, I am not telling them what to shoot. Just a few must take family pics then I told them to use their creativity to create beautiful images.

    I've never had an issue getting in contact. In fact, I just talked to Jeff yesterday. He's in Florida this week at a conference. Last week the power in his house was out all week and he had a lot of difficulty with his computer. Maybe that explains it? I don't know. I don't think it's like him to not respond though.
    Sorry you're having difficulty! We had such a great experience working with him.

    Just to give a different perspective...
    I've been trying to reach Jeff as well for the past 4 months. I was reluctant to say anything on the board because I didn't want to bad mouth him after promoting him so much. I have called, emailed and facebook messaged him. I even talked to another knottie who's wedding has already passed who was in regular contact with him and he told her he would be getting back to me.
    The only reason I'm trying to reach him is because we never received a hard copy of our save the date video that he did, which we were supposed to get a few weeks after he was done with it (that was in March). And my wedding is 6 weeks away, I need to finalize timelines and confirm vendors.
    No tips here, but just wanted to let you know I'm having the same problem.
    Side note: Jeff does really great work and I'm sincerely hoping that he comes through but it is making me very nervous.

    I used Jeff for my 8/7 wedding and also found him a little tough to get ahold of pre-wedding.  He was great to work with the day of, but definitely takes up to a week to respond to emails sometimes.  I'd also recommend telling him to show up about 15 minutes before you really need him the day of.  He was a little bit late on my wedding day and we were running well ahead of schedule so he missed most of the getting ready footage.  I definitely made the decision to proceed with just the photographer so it's definitely not all his fault, but it would have been nice if he had arrived a little earlier.

    UPDATE - I still have no heard from him, and I called and left a message. I'm getting really nervous, because I had good contact with him a few weeks ago, but really nothing since. I don't know what else do it, and I really like his style and the work he does.

    Our wedding is in 2 weeks, and we are using Jeff upon the knottie recommendations. I think when he got referrals on here earlier in the year, Feb, March, EVERYONE jumped on his good pricing and talent. Perhaps he wasn't ready for the rapid growth of his business.
    One thing I can tell you being a business woman for a long time, his good fortune won't last if doesn't improve his communication. AND I am UBER punctual and I will be VERY pissed if he is late.
    Now I'm worrried. Thanks for the heads up ladies.

    I just left a public facebook message and called and left a vm. Will keep you posted on the call back ..
