What are you getting your bridesmaids?

 I've gotten some small things as part of their gift, but still searching for the "perfect gift".

I know sometimes people say, "shop for them like it's their birthday" but usally that includes gift cards for my really picky friends. I would like to do something a little more personal than a gift card.
Just curious as to what everyone else is doing.

I dont't have it all together yet, but I ordered them a monogrammed wristlet with the letter of the first name on it (to keep with them the day of the wedding for cell phone, lip gloss, whatever)... and more to follow once I figure it out!

I got them Coach wristlets and pearl jewelry sets from Zales. The best part is that I got everything for a super good deal!

I am getting customized purses made for each of my bridesmaids.  I actually got the idea from another Chicago Knottie.  The girl that I have been working with, Jenn, is awesome and it is really affordable.  They aren't really designed to be used for the day of the wedding, I wanted them to have something that they will love and be able to use a lot.  She is fashionjenn on Etsy or you can check out her website at http://fashionjenn.com. She lives in Plainfield so we met halfway to go over samples of everything.  I am really excited about giving them to my BMs!!

I only have 2 so they are making out like fat cats! LOL! I got them both monogrammed tote bags, personalized bouquet vases and a fragrance. I might also give them gift cards to their favorite store, but I haven't decided.

I'm getting married in December, so I am thinking about getting them each a nice cashmere scarf.  I'll probably also pick out something like cute personalized jewlery rolls from Etsy.

I got them all customized wristlets purchased from an Etsy seller (not telling her name cuz she was terrible to work with ), a purse hook, ON flip flops, necklace and earring sets purchased from Etsy Seller Jewelsme (super inexpensive), and personalized totebags!  I was super excited about my bridesmaid gifts and I think they all loved them   And what was awesome was that for all of that - I only spent around $50 on each BM!

I got mine a personalized tote bag and cosmetic bag in the wedding colors. I'll fill that up with a few goodies for her to enjoy.  I'm also paying for hair/makeup that day, and the dress, jacket and alterations were on me as well.  I didn't want her going into the hole for my wedding, and since I'm only having one bridesmaid this was easy for me to do.  I'm excited to give her the tote because it came out really nicely.

I did monogrammed waffle robes- I got them online from Preppy Monogrammed Gifts. They are really nice- I wish I would have ordered one for myself! I also got them these slipper socks from Lands End and I'm paying for manicures the day before.

Mine are getting bouquet daggers. FI's family collects swords so all the GMs, FI, and FFIL are wearing swords. One of the BMs is dating one of the GMs and he was teasing her about how he gets a sharp pointy thing. So the BM brought it up to me and we came up with the idea of bouquet daggers.

I am giving my BM personalized hangers, personalized wine glasses, nail/toe gift card so we can all get them done, and a necklace earring set for the day.

They're all getting:
-Paid for part of their dresses (just $30 each b/c they didn't want their dresses above $200 but the ones I loved were $230 each)
-Necklace and earring set (I made)
-Pashmina scarf

some are getting a Kate Spade wristlet

but I have 2 BMs who won't use that (happen to be my sis/MOH and FSIL)
so FSIL is also getting a pair of her favorite slippers (kind of an inside joke) and a giftcard to Cinnamon Boutique in Roscoe Village

and MOH is getting perfume (ha, she picked it out...we found it at Marshall's for half of the retail price!)

I had trouble at first because all of my BM seem to have very different personalities (occupations vary from psychologist, army, occupational therapy, business, and nursing!) but I decided on getting them each a charm bracelet that have personalized charms for them- sure they will all have a charm for friendship and a BM or MOH charm to honor the wedding, but also other charms to show off what else is important to them.
