hello all - it's been a long time!

i'm still looking for a MUA for my august 2012 wedding and I contacted one (Makeup By Julie) but she seems really pricey - what do you think? has anyone worked with her?

Bride $175
Attendants $125 (1 person), $95 (2 people), $85 (3+ people)
Flower Girls $45 (age 10-15), $25 (up to 9)
Mothers $65

She also charges for travel outside of GENEVA!
31-50 miles $30
51+ miles (call for details)

I'm just starting to look into MUAs so i really don't know what sort of pricing to expect.

    oh, and her day minimum is $300. that's the first time i've seen a minimum...

    She is really expensive!!!!! 

    Try Tamara Makeup and Hair, much more reasonable. 

    I also had my makeup done by her before and I wouldn't pay those prices for it. And I have to say, she is obsessed with talking about Jenny McCarthy. She's like yeah....I'm her best friend etc. It was kind of getting on my nerves.

    Personally, I think that's a bit pricey for non-airbrush. I had Maris of Blend Beauty, formally Cynthia Sally. For airbrush, it was $130 for me and $85 for other applications--mom, bridesmaids, etc. You do have to have a minimum of four applications.
