To tan ot not to tan..

Hi Ladies! Need a little advice please. My wedding is in Sept and I usually get pretty tan every summer from relaxing at my pool. However this year I'm kinda scared to get too tan and tan lines on my shoulders. So, I was wondering how all of you ladies are tanning this year... spray tan, tanning beds or sun tanning outside? Plus I have a somewhat natural tan because I'm a Latin Lady.  Any advice would be great. Thanks and have a great day...Smile

I'm getting married in Sept too!  I've been pulling down my straps if I'm outside lately.  But I'm kinda watching it too.  But I've only been tanning outside a little bit, as I just want a natural glow.  You're lucky Latin lady. I wish I had your skin!!!

I'm getting married next month and I have a slight base tan already but will go tanning a few times before the day. If the weather gets back warm enough I'll sit outside but will have a glow wither it be from a bed or outside.

I thought about getting a spray tan before my wedding in May, but I didn't because I was worried it would run off on my dress. I used the Jergens stuff and it worked okay.

My wedding is Sept 2012 but I am already anticipating to do a little tanning in the tanning beds. I am worried about the spray tan for the same reason as PP said, about it coming off on the dress  :)

I'm biting the bullet and doing tanning beds this summer. About once a week until the wedding and then I will never tan again.

I tanned prior to my Oct wedding.  I tan easily so I just went for 4wks; two times a week.

I'm a runner and had sports bra tan lines I needed to get rid of!  DH tanned too; although I've heard its a myth, we both wanted a base tan for the HM.  However, just don't tan too much.  It's honestly the only thing I remember about my cousin's wedding 3 years ago; how awfully/unnaturally tan she was!

spray tans are better for your skin than tanning beds and outside tanning. so if you are having a hard time choosing, try a spray tan in advance (about 2moths id say) to see if you like it and what not. if you do go back about a week before the wedding and get it done again. im a very fair skinned gal and i just turn pink if i get sun lol. i used spray tans for prom and for my friend's wedding. i was not orange and the tanner did not run on to my dresses. hope this helps :)
