Looking for a chapel in sw suburbs

Hey everyone,

I am looking for a venue for the ceremony only, I really would like to get married outside but since I know I do not have luck on my side I want there to be a chapel on the grounds, if anyone knows anywhere great please let me know!!!

Thanks,
Diana

It's not the biggest place, but if you're having a small amount of guests for the ceremony, Wayside Chapel is beautiful.

Mayslake Peabody Estate (Oak Brook) has a gorgeous chapel on their grounds. We were married outside the chapel in September of 10. It rained most of the day but the sun broke out 2 hours before the wedding and it was gorgeous.

Their chapel only holds about 65 people. We set up 95 chairs outside (100 chairs came with the venue, we didn't have to rent) Our plan B was to be inside the mansion for the wedding if the rain continued.

Depending on your guest list and time of year it is a gorgeous place to marry. The photos were fantastic. Very Tall Trees surround the Chapel, and they have flower pots already planted around the Chapel as well, cutting down on the need for ceremony flowers.

My sister got married at the Wayside Chapel in Palos last summer.  They have both an outdoor area (which is sooo pretty) and an indoor chapel.  Look them up online.  Here is their website.  Good Luck!
