I've got a HUSBAND!!!

Hi Girls!!!

Well, I'm in the Grand Cayman Islands ready to go to bed, because we're completely exhausted!

We're married!!!!! I have to say, it's completely surreal. It went by so fast, it feels like it was a dream.

The ceremony started about 30 minutes late because for whatever reason, traffic was a nightmare coming out of the city and the trolley got lost a few times. Oh well. We lined up and when I walked (or more like RAN) down the aisle, I was completely calm and excited. I thought for sure I'd be choked up and/or crying, but I kept my cool. Mark looked so handsome waiting at the altar, I just wanted to get to him. Everytone told me I FLEW down the aisle, but I wasn't paying attention to be honest...so if you haven't done it yet...pay attention to your speed! LOL.

The vows were great. From the advice of some of the May brides, I looked into Mark's eyes the entire time and told myself not to forget this feeling. I didn't cry or get choked up at all. About mid-way through the ceremony, the skies went BLACK and it was some crazy wickey-nasty weather! 80MPH winds, the power went out (luckily the backup kicked in) and the lighting was a bit more dim, which was pretty damn romantic!  The thunder was insane, but we didn't let it bother us at all.

By the time the ceremony was over, and family portraits were done, the weather let up a bit and we decided to go straight to the reception because traffic might be bad. MAN was it...lights were out all over the place. We hoped to find a place to take photos along the way, but because of all of the traffic and storm aftermath, we didn't have time.

We pulled into the reception hall, and the sun came out and our photographer said we should absolutely go in the back and take the photos using the trolley...and we did! She already blogged our photos:

We wound up missing the cocktail hour since everything was delayed but we had so much fun in the trolley it didn't matter. Mark and I finsihed a bottle of Vueve champagne and it was a blast!

The night FLEW by...We had an amazing time and it's a night I will never EVER forget!

When we're back from the HM, I will post my reviews!
