I'm just curious.....Are there any brides out there who are only getting married at North Bank Park and having their reception elsewhere? If so, are they still charging you the minimum 6 hour reservation, but the pavillion will be sitting empty for 4 hours.
I am asking this because I feel North Bank park isn't making the most of this very very popular location. Say there is a bride who is only having their ceremony from 2-3pm but moving to a different location for their reception. The rest of the time at North Bank Park is blocked off according to the Park & Rec department, but the location may still be sitting empty, which could be used by a bride interested in only holding their reception there.
If you are one of these brides or just have an opinion about this, I'd love to hear an input. I'm curious what your thoughts are about having to reserve a 6 hour minimum but only using the space for your ceremony? I'd like to bring this idea to the Columbus Park & Rec department because they reserve their other locations (Whetstone & Goodale Park Gazebo) for 2 hour intervals, but don't at North Bank Park.
