Dress Cleaning Recommendation - Sunmade Cleaners

Hey there, so I said I would post a review once I got my dress back. I wiould give them an A+! My dress was SUPER dirty, it isn't totally clean, but I didn't expect that. They got most stuff out and get this, they only charged me $50!! They had quoted me $80! Deal! I don't know if I got the Sara Ciliberto discount (she was my seamstress and gave me the recommendation) haha.

Anyway, highly recommend! They are near downtown Palatine

Good to know- some of the Yelp reviews are a little iffy, but if someone on The Knot had a good experience specifically with a wedding dress, that's good enough for me!  And that's a good price!

Question- what was the turn-around time?

So, I took mine in, but he wouldn't clean it without a hole being fixed so I had to do that first, but without that part....I would say it was 3 weeks maybe? 2 weeks? I can't even remember to tell you the truth. I had beading on my dress and he did say that there is a chance of course it could get ruined, but it was sort of one of those things they just have to tell you. It came back completely fine!

I guess I really wasnt willing to pay $300 or whatever and i thought they did a good job!

Ugh, I do not like Sunmade Cleaners. I live in downtown Palatine, and avoid this place at all costs. I do not think they do a good job cleaning my work clothes. They ruined 2 pairs of work pants when I asked them to take them in. It was very half a**ed. They didn't even apologize for leaving a hole in my pants b/c they didn't even complete their sewing of the seam. I would not trust them w/my wedding dress.
