Blank Slate Venues BYOB and Open Catering

I just got engaged and am trying start gathering information about my wedding that I'm planning for 2014. My Fiance and I have plenty of connections in the food and Alcohol industry. (A close friend is a distributor and another brews some amazing beers. We also have relationships with several restaurant owners) Since we know we can cut our food and Alcohol costs nearly in half I'm trying to find some relatively budget friendly spaces that allow us to bring in our own caterers and alcohol.
I'm comfortable with warehouse/loft spaces. So far these seem the most open to outside catering. We will probably have around 150 guests total. I'm hoping we can get a raw space with a kitchen and a bar for around 3000.00.

I haven't actually met with any vendors. I have my eye on the Logan square Auditorium. Someone also mentioned to me the Wabansia Warehouse. I keep coming across Prairie Productions, Room 1520, and Kitchen Chicago. But they are either a bit over budget, or not quite big enough.
Welcome to any been there/done that tips. :)
