DJ help

Hello! This is my fiancee and I's 2nd time around getting married. He is 40 years old, and I am 32 years old.  We are having a small, family focused semi-formal wedding and are looking for a DJ.  But we don't need a crazy, loud-sppeaking DJ. Just someone to announce a couple of things and play good music for most of the night.
Anyone been in a similar situation and have ideas for us?ANY help would be appreciated!

I have only amazing things to say about MDM.. great customer service.

They played at my friends wedding last year (around 100 people) .. our brand of music is a lot of oldies-but-goodies.. and the floor was full all night!

They played at my sister's wedding in August (around 250 people) and her dance floor was also jam packed all night.  They played more modern music to match the crowd's interests.

They were professional and low key at both events.

Spinnin' Discs is supposed to be really good. We hired them and they have done weddings on FI's side of the family before. They seem really good at tailoring their dj-ing style to what you want.

Check out Toast and Jam.  They don't do any of that disco ball, flashing lights stuff, screaming nonsense, just good music and they keep the floor packed.  I'm using them in December, but go to Yelp for helpful reviews too (for them or any other DJ).

We hired Spinnin' Discs too.  We had a great experience meeting with them.  We have also emailed them with questions and they have responded every time.

Try Creative Sounds Chicago. I mentioned them to a few brides, I've heard them at a previous wedding I attended recently , seemed really experienced and professional.

    Hello,

I just got married last Saturday and we used Windy City Mix...they were awesome. Not cheesy at all and were extremely professional and efficient with the timing of announcements, introductions and our other special moments.  They (Carlos) helped us everytime we needed help!  I would definitely check them out.

    Good Luck,

I also am a second time bride and we used Music by Design.

I chose every song for the actual wedding using their interactive site. David was awesome, great customer service, and helped me with so many aspects of the wedding music.
