Videographer Suggestions (less than $1000)

We are looking to spend significantly less on a videographer ($800-$1000 budget)...any suggestions for this? TIA!

I cannot vote for Jeff just yet.
 
I hired him for my wedding NEXT WEEKEND. Called to confirm and e mailed and left facebook messages, last week. No reply yet.

At the end of the planning things are really crazy crazy and stressful doing all of the final confirmations, and problems pop up at the last minute, It is irritating that he can't make a 5 minute phone call to confirm. I am not directing him in any way of what to shoot, just want final confirmation. I'm 9 days out. I'm fairly sure he will show, but he doesn't have an address where to show yet. Believe me I do not need this at the 11th hour.

She was able to reach Jeff for confirmation, so all is well.
