Hotel Indigo-Palatine: Help please!

Does anyone have any experience with them? I have tried contacting the catering manager to reserve a room block but I have gotten no response. (This is now my 3rd try) And now I'm reading some recent reviews that don't sound too great. :(
Also, does anyone know of any other good hotels in the Palatine area near The Cotillion?
Thanks for your help!

What about something in Schaumburg? It seems there are a lot newer hotels around that area. The Renaissance is sooo nice. There is a Hilton over there too, there are a ton of hotels in that area

this hotel is right by my work- and I while I've never stayed there, I have a feeling that is not the greatest... (I get one of those vibes and I think it looks tacky... I dunno)... I agree that somewhere in Schaumburg is a better option, as you can hop onto 53 from northwest highway (where the Cotillion is) and get off right in the woodfield area. If you go a little north, there are some hotels off of Dundee Rd (Holiday Inn) and Lake Cook (Hampton Inn and Suites- deer park -where my block is Smile- and wyndam garden suites).. just a thought

Thanks for the advice! I have been looking elsewhere closer to Woodfield.

Hey! Our reception is at the Cotillion also and we looked at quite a few hotels in Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, and the Indigo.  We ended up going with the Hyatt Place in Schaumburg.  It's right off 53 and they gave a good rate and we really liked the staff and hotel.  All of their rooms are "suites" so they're all a nice size.  Annnnnd they gave us free shuttle service to and from the hall.  Let me know if you have any questions, GL!

If a hotel and/or vendor doesn't call you back after the 3x it's poor customer service.  Do you seriously still want to have your wedding reception there?  I personally would not.  If you are looking at the "modern" theme you should check out the Crowne Plaza Glen Ellyn-Lombard.  My best friend is getting married there in October and it's so convienent from I-355.  Here's the website:

    Good luck!
