bridal shower gifts?

Does anyone have and new or creative ideas on what to get the ladies who are hosting your bridal shower?  I want to get them a little something as a thank you for throwing me a lovely shower but all I have come up with is getting them either a plant/flowers or bath and body works stuff!  Any other ideas?!

Thank you in advance for your help!!

you could get them a basket and fill it with their favorite things like candies and magazines, or you could get them a mani/ pedi certificate.

I hope this help good luck

I did a "shower" themed gift for each of them. I went to C.O. Bigelow and got them soap, body scrub, lotion and a loofah and also bought them a bath robe. I made cards to look like bathtubs/showers and wrote, "I hope your next shower is as nice as mine was!"  The robes will also double as what they wear to get ready on the day of the wedding; they all got grey and I bought myself a pink one!

Actually, my bridal shower is coming up soon (15 days) and I am getting my bridesmaids a gift card from victoria secrets attached some lotion or make-up.  I now most of them shop there and love that place.  I figure they could get something cute for the bachelorette night or for the wedding.

One of my friends got the girls who hosted her shower each a book that had to do with something that is close to her heart.  For example, one of the girls is very involved with breast cancer charities and she bought her a book about that and made a donation to a charity.  The girl was so touched she couldn't stop crying.  I think it is because it was so personal to her.

Seventiespop-I love that idea!  Super cute...I'll have to keep it in mind when I have my showers.

I did the cheesy shower gift idea. She loves pink, so I got her pink body wash/lotion/loofa.

My mom and FMIL co-hosted my shower and I bought my FMIL a set from L'Occitane en Provence, I think they carry that label in the Four Seasons or the Ritz or some place like that. She loved it, but she's used to the finer things. I bought my mom a bathrobe and nice pj's b/c she needed them. =) My mom is more practical and wouldn't know what to do with overpriced bath stuff.

For the BM's that helped I gave them each a candle set from BBB, but each set was different. I also gave them pashminas from Carson's. The total was $20 for each girl.

I made a picture frame for my Aunt with a beautiful saying about Aunt's and gave her a GC for a spa that we love to go to together.

A thoughtful gift is always appreciated - shop like it's their birthdays! And if there's more than one hostess, they don't have to get the same gift.

I gave my hostesses olive oil baskets from the Olive Tap in Long Grove.  I put in a loaf of bread and a bottle of wine as well. They loved them!
