Christian or Catholic Traditions/Outdoors

I am getting married outdoors on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan.  I was raised catholic although wouldn't say I am practicing. I would like to incorporate a couple prayers/blessings, possibly the "Mother of Mary" tradition, but not a traditional mass.  Any ideas A) who I would have officiate (most priests will not perform an outdoor ceremony) and where to begin looking for this peron is and B) how can I incorporate those tradition in non traditional ceremony??

Thanks!!

I would talk with your local board that way they can help you with someone in your area.

Check the officient ads on this site. There are some Catholic Priests that are no longer in the church that do weddings,  They may be able to help you, I can't remember the name of them.... but you will find them under "officients" in the local vendors on this site.

Our officiant was Rev. Ron Crowley-Koch, a retired Catholic priest (he left the church to marry the nun that he fell in love with). We were married outside the church, but it was important to certain family members that we try to have a traditional Catholic ceremony, so he was a perfect compromise. An added bonus is that his wife serves as a coordinator for the ceremony. See my bio for a deeper review.

We are using Father Greg Zimmeman and he is amazing!  He is a married Catholic priest who left the church, but can still perform weddings, etc.  Check out his site http://www.frgregz.com/Background.htm
