Considering Engaging Events by Ali

Hi all,

Thank you all again for all of the fabulous vendor referals! My fiance and I are considering using a wedding planner to help us with the nitty gritty details. I like being able to choose my vendors but I need someone to handle all the other details that neither of us like to do.

I found Ali Phillips from Engaging Events by Ali in CS brides magazine and was looking to get some feedback on her. Has anyone used her for their wedding day?

I can't speak from experience, but the couple I rent my apartment from used her and did not have positive things to say and they were really dissapointed. I am using Anthony Navarro and he great.

I am also starting to look at wedding planners...Can anyone give me a price range so I won't have sticker shock...I would like help in addition to the DOC, I already picked my venues and some vendors just need help with bringing my ideas together

I don't have any experience with Ali, but we used Cori Ashford at Ashford Events.  They range between $400 and $1,000 depending on what you need.  We really liked working with her.  www.ashfordevents.com.

They are professional, budget conscious, and extremely attentive.  They were perfect for us and just what we were looking for.
