    Go to the Dress Doctor on MIchigan Ave. She can work wonders.

    I bought my dress @ Belle Vie - Amsale Bijou - and they exclusively work with Dress Doctor.  They don't have a seamstress on site at Belle Vie/ Vera Wang.  They will store the dress there until you go check it out for quality when it comes in, and then they release it to you or ship it, whichever you decided to do.  They might deliver it to Dress Doctor for you, but I am not sure about that since mine was shipped to my in-laws to save on tax!

    Dress Doctor did a great job on my VERY difficult to alter dress.  My only piece of advice is to be firm when you are telling them what you want, & set ALL of your appointments at your first appointment so you have a steady schedule for alterations, esp since it seems like you are altering quite a bit.

    For alternations, I would contact Taylor Wilson -- info@taylorwilsonstyle.com. She made 2 custom bridal dresses for me. She is a custom bridal designer, but also does alternations :) Good luck!
