Bachelorette Party in Chi town in June - Need Ideas - HELP!!!!

I'm planning a bachelorette party in Chicago for about 20 girls in their late 20s in June.  I'm not very familiar with the city, I don't know which hotel to stay at, what to do during the day or night!?  Any thoughts or help from residents there would be very much appreciated! We want to have a great day, with cocktails, dinner and dancing!!!! Also need any recommendations with limo or party bus services that can come get us about 60 minutes away to bring us to the city!

Thank you thank you thank you for all your help!!!!

You will probably get better input if you post this on the Chicago Board, under Local, to the left: http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/local-wedding-boards_illinois-chicago

I am doing my Bach party in July in the city.  We are going to hit up a 1:00 pm cubs game during the day(on a Saturday) and at night we will either hang out in the Wrigleyville bars or head back to the hotel which will be in the downtown area then go out to a dueling piano bar or somewhere on rush st.  There is a really cool high rise Holiday inn right in that area that we will probably stay at.  My BM Fi has some connection.  We are planning on walking and not taking limos because it's all right there.

Chicago will be a blast! I highly suggest staying at the Marriot Springhill Suites. The rooms are some of the most reasonable priced in Chicago and will sleep many. They also have a small wet bar in the rooms. Very nice hotel. The best part is that it's within walking distance of all of the hot River North bars and clubs. One of the most popular bachelorette bars is Howl at the Moon (fun piano bar), but I also suggest Rockit Bar, Hub 51/Sub 51, O'Callaghans, and Social 25. These are all some of the most popular clubs in the area and witin stubbling distance to the hotel. If you need to do dinner reservations you can either cater in room and play games before going out (which was one of the most fun bachelorette party's I've ever been to) or if you want to go out I suggest Quartinos. You can accommodate a large party with a pre-fixe menu for a very reasonable price with pleanty of wine. Best part is no limos or trolley needed. Chicago is a great walking city anyway.

I really like Bistro 110 for dinner.

I have my favorite bars, but I'm guessing that my favorite bars are probably not what you have in mind. I'm more of a cocktail snob and less into clubbing. One bar that's a good kind of rowdy dive is in the Wrigleyville area called the Twisted Spoke. It's a whiskey-spicy bloody mary- they show porn on Saturday nights kind of place. I also have a good time at Hugo's Frog Bar on Rush St.

The West Loop has some really hot/trendy restaurants and bars at the moment. We're moving there in a few months and I've been obsessively looking up restaurants in the new 'hood. Blackbird and Girl and the Goat are both on my "must try" list.

There are a couple limo services that have great pick up/drop off rates.

M&M Limo or Windy City Limo I've used and never had any problems.

Also, if you want to do something different - Kit Kat Club and the Baton Club are drag queen shows that are super fun!!!

    Carnival is a great restaurant.

Howl at the Moon is great too except it gets really REALLY crowded sometimes - especially in the summer.

Look into vipbachelorette.com or chibarproject.com for other good ideas!

How fun!  I've hosted 2 bachelorette parties in Chicago and here are our favorite things to do:
Cubs game in the afternoon, followed by dancing at The Cubby Bear.  You can't go wrong - you'll get TONS of male attention and its always a blast at this venue.  We all wore matching shirts (but not blue, wanted to stand out from the Cubs crowd). HIGHLY recommend it!
Beach - it's free and fun - we did brunch and then headed to the beach for some morning sun (and also before it gets too packed)
Rush St - if you're with a group, you almost always get in for free.  It's great for dancing!  It can be an interesting crowd - definitely not usually full of locals, but its fun.
There is also Flirty Girl Fitness if you all want to take a pole dancing class!
Shopping - do State and Lake area vs. Michigan - more affordable!
If you're staying downtown, go eat at Grand Lux.
Go to the Signature Room in the John Hancock building for drinks before you head out - you don't have to pay to go up there and the view from the ladies restroom rocks! It will be a perfect way to start a night out!
As for hotels, I can't help you much - but The Wit has a fantastic rooftop bar and is in a great location to travel up to Wrigley and Rush St. areas.
Check out the local neighborhood festivals for when you're here - they could be great afternoon entertainment before heading back for a grand night out.

No matter what, you'll have a ball!  Our best memories and pics came from The Cubby Bear after the Cubs game.  Hands down the most fun I've had for bachelorette parties!

I think I'm doing Kit Kat Club. I went to a Bachelorette at Baton and it was just ok. Some great drag performers, but it wasn't as rambuncious as I was expecting.
