Bachelorette Party in Schaumburg

Hey All! I need help! I used to live in the Chicago area, but moved before I was really of drinking age. I'm the MOH in my best friends wedding and I'm stumpped on good resturants and bars for the Bachelorette party. It will be in Schaumburg on a Saturday night. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Maybe suggest checking Yelp or such- I used to go out there when I was 21 but I'm not sure the restaurants and bars are the same.  Maybe check out chicago improv comedy club?  They have it in the back of Woodfield mall- and I've seen maybe 5 top name comics out there and I always have a great time with friends. Not sure when you are going, but they have the comic list up until at least October.  I've seen a lot if bachelor/ette parties out there whenever I go.  You can eat there, have drinks, and then move on to your next spot...

    Good luck

There is an Improv Comedy Club in Woodfield that often has really good comedians.  Schaumburg also has GameWorks, and there is a Dave and Busters close....Addison I think.  There used to be a martini lounge in Arlington Heights called Red Moon, and sometimes the Metropolis Club has a good "act" or play. Durty Nellies in Palatine (which you can hop on/off a train) always packs a good crowd.   A little further out in the burbs in Lincolnshire is Cubby Bear North (tons of reasonable restaurants/hotels within walking distance), as well as the new Viper Alley Club.  Up on Milwaukee a bit north in Libertyville is Austin's Saloon, which often has good cover bands.

Forgot---John Barleycorn is in Schaumburg as well.  Be careful about checking sites such as Yelp and Metromix....lots of clubs have come and gone in the past few years in the Schaumburg area.  Alumni Club, Heat....many "old time" clubs are now closed.

The Improv is great.  I highly recommend it as well.  Good resturants in the area are: Wildfire, BigBowl, Friday's, Olive Garden, there used to be an Alumni Club but I think it may be closed.

don't forget I think there is a Fredrick's of Hollywood in Woodfield mallWink

Westwood Tavern would be a great place to eat or get drinks in Schaumburg.

Agree with PPs that Improv is always a good time, and close to lots of good restaurants for dinner.

RAM has a large menu and lots of good beers.

Bride2blista-Westwood is soo tasty and now I'm craving their fish tacos. Might make that date night this week, yum!

There's also Lynfred Winery in Roselle which may be a neat place to start off in the early evening before dinner.
