Venue at Smith Bros - Cost??

Can anyone tell me what the cost breakdown is for the Venue at Smith Bros?  They are extremely hard to get in touch with and I am just curious about the cost/rental policies!  Thank you!

SO and I went last year and toured with them, so I can give you the numbers we got then.

    Rental cost for the
VENUE - 1795 - if you want to rent the courtyard next to it, it's an additional 600
    LOFT - 2495

You can bring in your own alcohol (YAY) but must use either Cameron Mitchell catering (yummy but very expensive) or Zuppa Catering. Their rep gave us a sample invoice (not including alcohol) and it was about $10-$11,000 for rental, food, service charge, bar set up fee, cost of linens and table settings, etc.

Other ladies on this board have actually had their weddings there and might have a much more accurate picture of the cost.

I'm having my wedding reception at the Loft in a few months, so maybe I can be of some help.  My wedding is on a Friday night so the rental cost is $1995 for the Venue it would be $1395. For saturdays the cost for each is $1795 for the Venue and $2495 for the Loft.  However I did get a Military discount, so keep in mind that that does lower my total just slightly.

The chairs are very nice & are included in the cost which is nice. So are certain linens and place settings.  They have a bring your own alcohol policy which could also save you money depending on what you choose.

I went with Zuppa catering and am having a cocktail hour with a few types of hors d'oeuvres and a buffet dinner.  The food is really good in my opinion and the three people I took to the tasting with me really loved it too.

A avg. wedding with Zuppa there for about 100 people is right around $4600 with tax (that doesn't include any tip - they leave that up to you). I think the price is very good compared to the other venues I looked at. Remember this is just me, and you could keep costs lower than me, or spend more if you wish. They are really flexible and willing to work with you. Hope this helps!

Edit: Let me know if you need any more specific information & hopefully I can help!

I visited around 8 different places and they were right there in line with the price everyone else gave us. It all depends on the food you get, it depends on the price, i think buffet was an average of 20-28 ish dollars per person and then bar package was like around 5.50ish. But they also have like off season times that you save 10% and they give you whatever linens you want, with no additional cost.

They were orginally our top choice but once we actually visited the place I decided that I did not like, but they were fairly good price. Good LUck!
