We're getting married in the west suburbs in a hotel banquet hall. We're paying $40/person for dinner, and $15/person for mid-shelf open bar for 4 hours, plus tax and gratuity on top of that. The venue is basically all-inclusive so I don't need to rent linens, napkins, etc.

We paid $30 per person for dinner and our venue allowed us to do a pay per drink package-it averaged out to $11 per person, but we had a small guest count and about half the guests didn't drink alcohol.

I think ours will end up being about $90-100 per person. Once you include the favors, it'll definitely be over $100.
    Happily married since 9/1/2012!

About $115 with 4 hours open bar, apps, chicken entree, cake, and a late night taco bar.

Total is approximately $100pp based on 200 guests and a 10 hour reception time.  We're getting married at a loft space downtown so we have to bring everything in- tables, napkins, glasses, etc.

Family style dinner, passed appetizers, wait staff, tables, linens, china, glassware, cakes, sweets table and late night snack is probably going to run us around $50pp.

Bar service is difficult to estimate- we can purchase our own booze, we're going with higher end liquors and we have a 10 hour open bar time.  :)  I'm guessing $25pp when we add in bartending staff/gratuity.

Venue space will run us around $25pp.
