30 Day Shred!!

Today I started the 30 Day Shred.. and wow, it was a little more intense than I had expected--but I can definitely handle it!! I am excited to "stick with this one" and do it every morning before work!!Are any of you other girls doing this workout? How are your results? I am hoping to lose 10lbs (diet and exercise) before next year... maybe this will jump start it!:)

    Yes!  I've been doing the shred for about a month now and have seen awesome results!  I've lost about 7 pounds and tons of inches since I started and have seen a major increase in my energy level.  I was doing 30 min on the eliptical followed by the hour long body pump class 3-4 times a week at Lifestyle Family Fitness before I started the shred, but have seen much better results from the shred in less time spent.  I wasn't a big fan of level 2....my back hurt, so I more or less skipped that one and went straight to level 3.  I started getting a little bored, so I sometimes flip between 1 and 3, or will do part of both, sometimes all of both depending on how I feel....consistantly dropping 1.5-2 lbs a week (with diet too)....I have my second fitting tonight and can't wait to see how much more they have to take it in.

    What's the 30 day shred? Is it a DVD? Cardio? How long each day?

    30 Day Shred is by Jillian Michaels of Biggest Loser.  It's a 3 level DVD, each level is 25 minutes.  You move up in levels whenever you are comfortable/ready.  It's a GREAT quick workout!  I did it with cardio and felt great!

    my DH even likes to do it with me! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to switch up their workout routine!

    So after all the rave reviews on different wedding sites I tired the Shred level 2 today and I am a fan.  It won't replace my running, but is great for days off and times when I only have 30 minutes :-)

    Hmmm.... FI is always saying, "you may not need to lose any weight, but you need to work out just to be healthier!!!"... *Sigh* I know he's right -- he works out 3 or 4 days a week and I have a hard time sticking to something fun that I can do at home. I think I'll give it a try! Do the levels all come on the one DVD? I'm in Korea right now with FI (he's AF), and I want to order it from Amazon -- it's only $6.50 if I'm looking at the right one and it's got 1200-some great reviews! :) Sounds like a winner to me! Thanks for the post!!!

    I kid you not, my FI started shredding back in March and has lost something like 25 lbs. That's the only working out he does, too! (the jerk...haha)We have a saying in our house..."I hate Jillian Michaels." :)Well...it's love/hate. She kicks butt!

    Ok I am interested in the 30 day shred but am a little confused. I have saw the DVD as one......and also saw the DVD come in a three pack. Which one do you recommend?
