I'm not getting married at St Michaels but I am not using an aisle runner in our church. honestly I really don't see the need for it and the carpet is pretty nice in our church.

I'm not using one either. The aisle at our church is carpeted and it's fine. I honestly just didn't really want to deal with one.

I've been there once, I think the aisle was pretty long. That Church is so pretty though, I don't think you'd need one!

Have you checked with the church?  Many churches don't even allow aisle runners for liability reasons (they are tripping hazards).  The Catholic church where we got married didn't allow them, but we probably wouldn't have bothered anyway.

Ask the wedding coordinator at the church. Our church had a cloth aisle runner that they allow couples to use for free. It was way nicer than those plastic ones many people use.

Someone at the church should know and if not, ask local florists.  Florists generally offer runners and know the lengths of the aisles at nearby ceremony sites.  My mom works at a garden store/florist and they keep a record of that information so they know what to have on hand.
