Hair and Makeup

I need to have the hair and makeup artist travel to my location in the burbs.  Who are you using?  Any recommendations?  And how soon before the wedding do you do the trial?  Any tips greatly appreciated!

we just booked brides by kelly. shes located in lombard, and has a 20.00 travel fee if you are more than 25 miles outside that radius. she was more reasonable than some of the other hair/makeup services i researched. i havent met her personally, but she gets great reviews.

We used Cristina and Jodi from Tamara Makeup + Hair Artistry. Trials are done in their in-home studio in Darien. For the day of the wedding, there's no charge for travel within a 15 mile radius of Darien. Their prices are very reasonable and they do great work!

I cannot say enough about Blend Beauty! Formally, Cynthia Sally Makeup.  They have both hair stylists and make up artists. Also, they do airbrush make up, which I highly recommend. Maris did make up for me, my mom and BM's.
