Bridal shops in Chicago

Hi Ladies,

I've been looking around for the dress.  I've checked out some places in the NW burbs and found some dresses I liked, but nothing I absolutely loved.  I'm thinking of checking out some places in the city.  Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for any of the shops.  Any recs would truly be appreciated!  I searched the forum, but some of the recommendations were the Oak Street shops which I think would likely be more than I'd like to spend.

Most of the shops I know of in the city are the downtown and oak street shops, which were way too pricey for me, so I avoided them.  

Not exactly what you were looking for, but a shop called Here Comes the Bride in Addison, IL is fairly good and inexpensive.

Without knowing your budget, I believe Weddings 826 is fairly reasonably priced. I didn't buy my dress there, but I had a really good experience. Nice salespeople that were very attentive, let me take pictures of anything I wanted, and basically let me choose what to try on instead of forcing certain styles on me. I highly recommend it.

Jenny Yoo had some gorgeous dresses under $1K, but they don't have beading/lace.  However, if you want something plain but elegant, I'd definitely look there.
