Dress Cleaning Post Wedding

Has anyone used a decent and reasonably priced cleaner in the Northwest suburbs?  My dress is at my parents house in Bartlett and I'd love to find someplace near there or even in Schaumburg or Naperville.  I know that a place in Palatine was recommended awhile back but thought I'd see if anything closer was possible.  TIA!

I actually took mine to David's Bridal.  They have a kit you can purchase and they send it out to an outside company and them send it back to your house.  I bought my dress there so it was 129. for the dress and 15 for the veil.  Otherwise I think it is 149 or 199.....They told me it would take 6 weeks..I received it via FedEx 2 weeks later and it look awesome!!!

I warn you to beware of Davids Bridal sending it out. The previous poster had a good experience but I have heard horror stories from even my own friends using them and opening the packaging after and still having stains (darker then they remember in some cases).  If you do, get it in writing that they (DB) are responsible if it doesnt seem perfect when you get it back....

I am getting a kit from my dress salon, Kimberly's Bridal. It is somewhere around $200 I think, but they are a reputable salon.

I do not beleive that you are supposed to open the package after you get it back.....The air will definately make it turn yellowish.....I still recommend David's Bridal..at least the one on Orland
