Chic or cheap?

If you were at a wedding and saw something like this, would you think this is chic and different, or would you see it was an indicator that they ran out of money for real flowers?

I like these, and I may consider using them as pew decorations at the church.

What do you think? Chic or cheap?

I like the tissue paper pomanders. I don't think they look cheap unless you have a five year old do them. :)

I helped coordinate a wedding where they had 500 (no joke!) of these in different sizes and it was GORGEOUS. Ill post some pics below.  It looked really romantic, especially at this outdoor summer wedding.

I would think the person was creative and did something unique.  I am so against flowers on the pews-rock on for doing something original!

For some reason I can't see the original picture, but according to the PP's, you are talking about tissue pomanders.  I love them!  Go to the DIY board and you will see how many brides are using them...a ton!

I agree with pp. Go for it if that is what you like. We were looking for a unique, inexpensive alternitive to flowers and I did ribbon poms. I got the idea for the DIY board someone doing them for their pews.
