Name is officially changed!

and i have to say, it was a really painless process! i heard it was good to go EARLY in the day (I went to the Soc Sec office at 77 W. Jackson, 3rd floor); I got there at about 8:50am - they open at 9am. There was a looong line of people, but when you check in, you select the reason why you're there and then they divy up the numbers. There were only 4 people ahead of me. I was in and out in about 25 minutes. The actual wait was about 15 minutes. The guy did everything really fast and easy!

Now, I have to go get my DL and state ID chg'd. Hopefully that will go as smoothly!

Oh I'm super jealous! I can't change my name until after a business trip in the next 2 weeks. I have our marriage license and everything. I need my DL in my maiden name for the flight.
