Bachelorette Party...Where do I have it at???

Hi Knotties,

I need to know places where I can have my Bachelorette Party at.
My Maid of Honor can't think of any.

I was in a car accident, so I obviously can't dance (so no dance clubs).
I want to have the typical "bachelorette party" experience...wearing the sash and tiara...all the girls excited.

1) Can anyone recommend a place to go?
2) We're trying to keep it as inexpensive as possible.
3) We don't want to get a stripper at the house.

Also my MOH doesn't want to rent a limo or cab, but wants to go to these places where people drink all night. She said that "we are all adults, and should know not to drink too much". The place she suggested was a dinner and drinking game package...yikes.

Please help...I need to tell her by the end of the week! Thanks knotties =)

There are lots of comedy clubs from Improv Clubs/Zanies in the suburbs to Second City....there are several drag shows, including Kit Kat Club and Baton, Dave and Busters, Pinstripes, Flirty Girl has some fun alternatives.....if you don't have a car or want to rent a limo....do a metra crawl along the train rails.........

I was just going to suggest Flirty Girl! Also, what if you went to clubs but had a table with bottle service? That way you get they "typical" experience but technically don't have to dance since you will be sitting.

I'm thinking of doing mine at Hamburger Mary's, so that might be a cool option for you. I have to be careful about where I want to go because my MOH isn't 21 yet so any bar or club is out of the question. But Hamburger Mary's is basically a glitzy retaurant/drag show/karaoke place.

Red Headed Piano Bar/Sluggers/Howl at the Moon are all piano bars where you can sit but you don't have to dance if you don't want to. There are always bachelorette parties there.

First, I'm having mine at the Kit Kat Club. You could start with dinner nearby and walk or take a train the the club.

Second, check out vipbachelorette.com. I planned my friends bachelorette party last month using this site (and using it for mine too!) real awesome people to help plan a wonderful party! They have packages for wine tasting, comedy clubs, in home massage and makeup lessons, male strip shows, you name it! There package book is like 50 pages long...highly recommend.

Third, what about renting a trolley/ limo bus and just have the driver drive around downtown chicago for 5 hours. bring your own games/alcohol/food....Party Bus!

Fourth, heard about a Murder Mystery Train (amtrak? metra?) I think it leaves Union Station and travels to (i think) Wisconsin and it's a Murder Mystery Party....on the train! All in all like 6-7 hours. They provide food and drink and you can dress up like in the 1920's and 1930's.

i had mine at The Chopping Block at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago- we had a cooking class and made dinner, then ate...  we went out later, but you could easily get a hotel room and hang out at the hotel..
