Church

Alright, here's the fun part.  My Fiance and I are getting married next year.  He's catholic and I'm Lutheran. We are open to compromise but want it to be something we are both walking in together.  We are looking for a Non-Denominational or Christian Reformed style church.  We live in Chicago Ridge/Oak Lawn area we want to stay close to home so that we will continue to go even after the wedding.  We will go as far south as Orland Park and as far North as the edge of Oak Lawn.  Anyone have any suggestions or recomendations.

Parkside Community Church in Orland is a fantastic congregation (non-denominational), especially if you like contemporary style worship.  I'm Catholic, and my husband is Lutheran.  We were married in a UCC Church (United Church of Christ/Congregational) by my husband's family's Lutheran pastor.  UCC is a pretty welcoming denomination for people of other faiths-- there are a number of wonderful UCC congragations in the south burbs, too.

    Good luck!
