Check, Check, and Check!

We completed both of our registeries this weekend: Target and Crate and Barrel. The C&B event was so much fun! The staff was very helpful,whereas we were just on our own at Target (which is fine by me, since I'm a figure it out yourself kind of girl). We pretty much stuck with the basics, since we don't have much kitchen/household stuff yet. I'm not sure if we have enough stuff. Between the two stores we have about 160(ish) items, not including the duplicates (ex, 12 wine glasses) and a lot of the items from C&B are kitchen accessories that are $15 or less. We've invited about 130. I guess I can just update as we go along.

The third check is that FMIL booked our rehearsal dinner at a chinese restaurant nearby. I think we're just doing a buffet. It's simple and the owner is incredibly nice and accomodating, so hopefully it's fun.

Getting close to 5.5 months....AHHHHH!!!!

Sorry, this was meant for a different board. I guess Chicago knotties can hear about my checks too! Is anyone else having issues with TK chaging pages on you? I was on Aug. 2010, clicked post, page refreshed to Mass. local board, then I found my post here. I have a love-hate relationship with TK.

Hey Jess,
That's great that you got all that done. I'm just about 6.5 months out and I need to concentrate on the registeries also.
I don't come here very much... but struggled with the changes too.

YAY for registries!   They are SO fun!  We had our shower yesterday and it is SO fun watching everything being bought off of it.  One word of warning about Target-they will NOT let you use your registry as a reciept, like the other stores.  You HAVE to have a gift reciept and well, some people don't include them and Target will NOT take it back.

Thanks for the Target tip. I've heard all the horror stories but the BBB stores are too disorganized for me to handle (it's irrational, I know) so I'm bracing myself. The registry already looks different in store vs. online.

Congrats on the checks! Yep, I've had a bunch of problems with TK changing pages on me in the middle of writing a post! What the heck?!?
