My daughter went to the Kit Kat Club for a portion of her evening.  She said it was a lot of fun and very affordable for all the guests.

Cafe Babareeba is a popular destination, as is Howl at the Moon, Flirty Girl, Second City, and the Improv Club.

chicago.metromix.com has a lot of shows advertised on their site.
  • How much did the VIP Bachelorette thing cost?  It seems pricey but they don't give many details.

  • we went to dinner at Quartino's (Italian tapas) then out to some bars on Division which normally isn't my thing but I just wanted to have a girls weekend and dance! it was alot of fun. We also got a room at a hotel and did do a piano bar for a drink or 2.
  • I should say that I did plan a bachelorette party a few years ago and we went to Kit Kat Club and it was a lot of fun. Afterwards we just went out in Wrigleyville.
  • My friends got a hotel room, threw me a lingerie shower, and then we went to Inn Joy , a bar on Division to dance. They had awesome music!
  • Echoing some others:

For my b-party (10 of us): we went to dinner at Quartino's; went to the Baton Club for a show and then went out on Division afterwards (For lodging we lucked out at stayed at a friend's condo in Gold Coast...but the only disappointment was that it was the coldest Labor Day wknd ever so we didn't get to use the rooftop pool).

For other bach. parties we're done dinner at Cafe Ba Ba Reeba.  In fact, anytime we go in the summer we usually see at least one.

If you don't like to go out, there's also other ideas like the Flirty Girl Classes, Wine and Painting workshop, etc.

Or renting a trolley is another popular option; 3 hrs on a Saturday night, BYOB, is around $530 including tip through Chicago Trolley Company.
  • I know VIP Bachelorette has several options - I do NOT recommend the club option. They took us to a few places that were clearly cool in the 90s but not anymore and that had sweaty Jersey Shore-type men all over the place - i.e. Excalibur.

But, to each their own. ;)
  • Thanks for the suggestions!  I'll look into them.

    Hey guys,

There are so many options for bachelorette parties in the city!  Check out this article for 10 great Chicago bachelorette party ideas.  One of my favorites is Bottle & Bottega.

    Good Luck!

Flirty Girl Fitness hosts more bachelorette parties than anyone else in Chicago. Choose a one hour private class of your choice (pole dancing, lap dancing. coyote ugly, burlesque, etc), add on spa services and enjoy cocktails in the fully licensed bar. There are two glamorous studios in the West Loop and Lincoln Park, both just minutes from downtown. For more info visit www.flirtygirlfitness.com

  • For mine, we started out at Flirty Girl Fitness for a one hour Private Pole Dancing Class with all my girls. They have a bar in the lobby, so we sipped martinis just before we went in. This was SO MUCH Fun. We all laughed too much! They have locker rooms to shower and get ready in after. If you or a g/f live in the city I suggest you can just all get together and freshen up after there before going out again. We then went out to dinner at Carnival Restaurant. Another great venue. From there we hit up some club/lounges and had bottle service rsvp. Very fun night!

  • Check out Chicago Adult Toys.  They do bachelorette parties and one of my friends had a party there. They combine a spa experience with adult toys and games. We had a blast in the hot tub and my massage was AWESOME! It was full body with hot rocks. Loved it!
  • If clubs aren't your thing, I highly recommend Lincoln Karaoke in the city. Every group gets their own room so everyone can sing along! Full bar is available and it's a lot of fun.
