Reception Hall on a Budget

I am searching for a venue for the ceremony and reception that is very inexpensive since my fiance and I will be paying for the wedding ourselves. I am trying to keep the entire thing under $10K. So far, my best option seems the be The Seville in Streamwood. Any other suggestions?? (Nothing outdoors)

Check out Byron Colby Barn in Grayslake - http://prairiecrossing.com/ They were the most budget friendly when I did my search.

ETA: If you have a strict budget, this venue and others offer Friday discounts and incentives.  Some other vendors like DJs have Friday discounts as well.

Check out the Lighthouse Restaurant in Cedar Lake, IN.  Beautiful lake front restaurant with wedding packages starting at $39 per person, which includes food and liquor.

Olde Town Hall in Downtown Crystal Lake! It's incredibly inexpensive & the owner is a hell of a guy. It's a building commissioned by Al Capone, all original 1920's floor to ceiling. You'll have to go there as it just opened again as a recpetion hall but his phone number is posted outside the building. I promise you wont regret the visit.

We are getting married in IL but we live in FL :) do you have a link that shows pics or have any contact info that I could use? My fiance's parents live in Cary and it would be nice to have a venue close to their house!

My daughter considered the Onion Pub for her wedding.  It is a beautiful venue with a gorgeous view from the back.  It is in a curious location; it is situated in the middle of an industrial park.  We really liked it.

I heard you can bring everything on your own at the Prairie Production venue but I am not 100% certain.
