I've seen a couple of posts recently from you about Eva's Bridal in Oak Lawn.  Now i'm not saying you are lying, but Eva's of Oak Lawn is an independently owned store and are not affiliated with any other Eva's store.  Where exactly are you getting information from that they are going bankrupt?  And what 2 stores closed?  I'm just trying to get facts straight here because this is where my bmaid dresses are coming from and i'd like to address this information on my visit there next weekend.  Thanks!

Sorry to intrude here but my guess is she received a letter that says it and I'm guessing that House of Brides sent the letters out.  I remember reading it multiple times on here about brides (including myself) getting a letter with no return address.  One bride even went to HOB and purposely spelled her name incorrectly there and sure enough, the "bankrupt" letter was spelled the same way.

Not to threadjack, but I recently purchased my dress at Eva's in Oak Lawn and there was no mention of bankruptcy. I haven't received my dress yet (my wedding isn't until May), but my appointment went great. My consultant listened to me and what types of dresses I was interested in trying on and didn't bring me anything that I said I didn't want.
