I definitely recommend doing it!

I thought about doing them for H's wedding gift, but with the expsense of everything else, I decided against it.  So this year following anniversary traditional gift of paper for the 1st year, I got them taken w/Katheen Thame.

She was awesome!  I opted for hair and makeup and was glad I did.  It helped to calm my nerves and just get me excited.  A girl named Sarah Salt...(something) did both and she was awesome.  I have to say, maybe close to, if not better, than my wedding MUA. Kathleen was really down to earth, gave me some champagne, put on music and just made everything really comfortable and professional.  It was really fun!  Now I'm considering working with her for a TTD session too.

Anywho, for anyone hestitating, I'd say for for it!

When I was looking, there was a woman named Melissa Diep who does them. If you look at her website, the photos she has are so clean and classy. I think you can really tell the difference. There is also another photographer named Danielle Aquline who has a lot of experience doing this. She gets great reviews as well. Hope this helps for anyone looking!

True Jewishmil.  It all depends who fits in your schedule and works for you.  However, I just checked my email with a quote from Danielle and she was $200 more than K. Thame!!  Just for others to keep that in mind b/c budget can be important.

I have also seen Olivia Leigh's work and I am obsessed. I am not a big fan of Kathleen Thame's work quite honestly, but I think it really depends on your budget and who you feel comfortable.

I have read good things about both Danielle and Melissa as well. I think Kathleen is a newer photographer which is why she is less expensive I assume?

I would like to do this for our 1 year anniversary most certainly.
