Outdoor photos at Lake Katherine??

We are getting married at Belvedere Chateau in Palos Hills so we figured the best idea would be to have our outside pics taken at Lake Katherine in Palos Heights (only about 3 miles away). Anyone had any experience here? We are doing our "FIRST LOOK" so we want it to be REALLY special!

We took prom pictures there.  It's beautiful and there are a bunch of great spots for pictures but there is a fee and it's really popular for wedding photos so you may be sharing.

there is a fee and it is a pretty popular spot. We did our at Naperville River walk...no fee and tons of spots for great shots! another possible would be the water reclamation in worth...right off harlem. also no fee and great photos as well, we did our family photos here. good luck!
