Help me pick a ceremony reading!

My sister is getting married in 2 weeks and she just asked me to choose something to read during her ceremony. Her fiancé's daughter will be reading a bible passage, but my sister asked that I pick something not so religious (but still acceptable for a church wedding).

I don't really know her fiance or what their relationship is like. I asked her about them today and she said that he is not a mushy person. They are both engineers at the same company and they work a lot. She is organized and he pretends to be. She is always early and he is always late. I asked what she loves about him and she answered that they enjoy each other's company and they are not good at answering that kind of question!

Please help! I have been looking around on the internet for ideas, but I am at a loss. If you have any suggestions that you think might be thoughtful and caring but not mushy or super religious, please let me know!

this is the reading we had:

Instructions For Life In The New Millennium

Take into account that great love
and great achievements involve great risk.
And that a loving atmosphere in your home
is the foundation for your life.
Be gentle with the earth, be gentle with one another.
    When disagreements come remember always
to protect the spirit of your union.
When you realize you’ve made a mistake,
take immediate steps to correct it.
Remember that the best relationship is one
in which your love for each other
exceeds your need for each other.
So love yourselves, love one another,
love all that is your life together and all else will follow.

Hi Lindsay!  We used "Art of a Good Marriage" for one of our readings and got compliments on it later
