Tipping

Can you tell me what is customary and appropriate to tip all the vendors you use?   The catering company will be bringing a staff of 5, there's a single photographer (owner), florist, two musicians (husband and wife), officiant.
Thanks for your input!

You don't need to tip anyone who owns there own business/does this on the "side" of their real job (maybe the musicians?).

We're not tipping our officiant, as we have no connection to him prior to contacting him about our wedding.

Catering, if it's not already including in your contract, should be tipped 18-20% of the bill (pretaxes).

Again, florist doesn't need to be tipped if they own their own shop, but I'd tip the delivery man $20.

An addition to the vendors you have listed:
We're not tipping, but are providing a meal for: photographer and DJ
    -tipping hair/makeup 20%
-Venue coordinator either $50 or $100

    I disagree with PP.

Not tipping someone because they are the owner is an outdated rule (IMO) I would still tip them.

We are definitely tipping our officiant, even if I didn't know him.

For photographers and DJs you should tip if they did a really great job.
