Jeweler Help!

We have come to realize that my platinum engagement ring was really only platinum plated. I wear it 24/7 and have been engaged over a year so it's wearing off. We don't want to go back to where we got it since they clearly ripped us off once lol

Any recommendations for a good jeweler would could re-plate my ring? TIA

    The jeweler we use is out in Rockford, IL-it's Busch jewelers but the owner Mitch is a friend of a friend and gives us awesome deals and he's really trustworthy.  If you're ever out in that area, go see him and tell him a friend of Chuck Watson sent you in.  He'll take good care of you.

    I would actually first take the ring back to the jeweler and get some of your money back.

    We had a problem with the woman who did my engagement ring too - so now we're having Larry Zimont do our bands. He's been great so far - he seems to know what he's talking about and is really reasonably priced. He did my bf's rings over 3 years ago and several other pieces of jewelry for her and everything has been really well made.
