Timeline for wedding planning

Hi Ladies,We recently got engaged and I was wondering if anyone had a good timeline for planning a wedding. We are DEFINETly trying to make this cost effective and am hoping with some advance planning it will be a little easier! Thank you so much!

Your timeline will definitely depend on how long you have to plan your wedding. My first recommendation would be to set a date and then go from there.

I based most things off of the one given on this website. It was pretty helpful.

Yea - set your date and input it into The Knot!  They'll walk you through everything. I also bought The ultimate wedding planner - it wasn't as helpful as the knot, but it had a few extra ideas to help me.  Congratulations!!!!

I used the one provided on the knot as well.  Some of the things they suggested I did differently but all in all it was very helpful and reminded me of things I needed to get started on.
