Officiant?

How far in advance should I book an officiant? I'm getting married in June 2012 (10 months away) and would like to hire Kahu Bruce. Is it too early to contact him? How far in advance do they book up on the island? Thanks!

I don't think it's too early.  The popular months tend to book up pretty far in advance!

You should be fine, some vendors don't want to book over a year out, but since you're under that mark - you should be good to go.

I agree with you all!  We booked him a year in advance as well.  Kahu Bruce is amazing and getting popular for weddings.  He will keep in contact with you throughout the year just to say hi and see how things are going.  Good luck! :)

LOVE Kahu Bruce!! Book him asap! If he doesn't email you, you should try calling him instead, much better w/ phone communications. let me know if you need his number. Sweetest man alive! Loved our ceremony :)
