Does anyone know where I could get a bunch of leis for my AHR?  I'm wanting nicer ones, not plastic, but more like the silk leis...the ones they sell at the swap meets in Hawaii.  I've checked ebay, but I'm just not sure if I should buy off there because I would prefer to see better pictures (which they can't give me) and if they could be from Hawaii so I support their economy more.

I was just going to buy them while I'm there for the wedding, but I don't know if I'll have time to make it on Maui during my wedding weekend, I won't be on Oahu during the weekend and I don't know if Kauai has one or not.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Oriental trading has some options...they are polyester, not silk though.

Aw thanks Tanq!!  I saw those, but they're like double of what's on ebay....so I have no idea what to do   I feel like price is important, but what's some more at this point!

How about shell lei?  Or a big thing for graduation in Hawaii is the candy lei, but that might look a little tacky with cellophane wrapping and all.  You could do a silk ribbon lei.  My mom was pretty into making them for my friends for my high school and college graduation.  Here's one I found on etsy:

Might be a little pricey, but you could make them yourself!
